NMCCH was established in 1954 by small, local churches of Christ. We provide support and guidance to help people find their way to a self-supporting life that is safe, healthy, fulfilling, and based in Christian faith and love. We believe that the truest human purpose is to join God in loving others as He would have us love them. Believing in God’s desire for people to be just, to be merciful, walk humbly; and love one another, we strive to help people in need. In a phrase, we stand by the words Jesus spoke when he said, “go and do likewise.”
