New Song Mission cares for vulnerable children grades K-8 year whose parents enroll them on our beautiful 100 acre campus for the wonderful education the boys and girls receive in our school, called the New Song Leadership Academy. Our students enroll with us for the school year and go home most weekends and the majority of the summer.
Houseparents at New Song are married Christian husband and wife couples who care for up to 7 children in their 5,000 square foot home. We currently have a home for boys, a home for girls, and a third home we call the Campus Center, which is used for school classrooms and administrative offices. In addition, our scenic campus has many amenities including a pond, a creek, hiking and biking trails, a small challenge course, and a park with a kickball diamond, basketball court, gaga pit, nine square, and play set area.
Our Houseparents are an important part of a ministry team, all of whom work closely together to support one another and provide the best care and education possible for our kids. We train our houseparents in Biblical Discipleship, Love and Logic, and other programs to help them care for and guide the children.
During the summer months we hold several summer camps for vulnerable kids, called the New Song Adventure Camps! The camps are small in terms of the number of kids we have on campus, but they are mighty in the sense that we get to know the campers very well and build solid relationships with them. The camps give us a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the kids, while giving them exceptional recreational experiences. It is by God's amazing grace that the camps are an incredible bridge for campers to become full-time students in our school-year ministry.
